Actions--School Story 2020-2021--Post #1

This year while working in a cohort model system Blundell worked hard to maintain our strong sense of community and belonging that has been built amongst the staff, students and families.  Over the course of the year students worked in groupings of 60 or less and large gatherings were not allowed.  Those cohorts worked with the smaller groupings of students to do collaborative activities such as:

  • trick or treating around the school at Halloweeen
  • Winter Windowland Walkaround where classes decorated their classroom windows and then classes walked around the school to take part in the beautiful decorations
  • Remembrance Day Zoombly and a live “Last Post” rendition
  • Pink Shirt Day virtual assembly
  • Summerpalooza—for our youngest students a day of fun, outdoor summer activities
  • a one cohort sports day and our year-end Grade 7 Farewell celebration

Please enjoy photos of these activities.
