Shifting our Focus--Framing the Question.

With our scanning and wonderings from November 2022 and the results from our student survey in February 2023, we are ready to ask our question.  In February 2023 staff discussed the question for our school story.  How can we ask the best question for us to focus on with our school story? Some ideas:

• How do we build resilience with our students?
• How to build problem solving skills amongst our students and their ability to problem solve socially among their peers?
• How to build age-appropriate social problem solving skills amongst students?
• What social and emotional competencies and supports do our students need to build their problem-solving skills with their peers?

November 2022

In November 2022 we asked our staff to share what they noticed and wondered about our students.  We, as a staff, have been informally scanning over the course of the fall 2022 and here is what we have noticed and our wonders.
